Emotionally-engaging visual strategies

This artisanal knitwear label needed a brand identity that was as refined and timeless as the pieces in its collection. In addition to a wordmark, a monogram was developed to visually punctuate areas of the company's website and print materials.
A "martini shot" is film industry slang for the final take of a scene. A "MacGuffin" — a term popularized by Hitchcock — is a plot device that has little relevance to the rest of the story. A Martini MacGuffin is an independent film production company.
A symbol and wordmark combo for this loyalty and gift card system facilitator.
This luxury wristwatch distributor received an appropriately understated clock-like oval to accompany their wordmark.

As your fly-on-the-wall for hire, I keep a low profile during your event to ensure that spontaneous and genuine moments are recorded. Instead of using a flash, I capture the inherent light and ambience of your location from a spirited point-of-view.
What to expect
- a courteous and professional presence while on location
- captivating photojournalistic images
- delivery of high resolution files after the event
What not to expect
Portraits or group shots. As documentary image making is my passion, I don't offer staged photos. Which is not to say that they cannot be done well (they certainly can). And if you need them in addition to candid photos, then it might be advisable to have two photographers on site. With my economical daily rate, you might be surprised to find that a two-photographer hire is within your budget.
I offer half- and full-day rates. Please contact me with the details of your event for further info.

Over the years, I have created visual solutions for a vast array of clients — from indie musicians to international brands — and have worked with some of the foremost ad agencies in Canada.
I am a Toronto native, now based in historic Collingwood, Ontario. With that geographic shift from the centre of Canada's ad industry, my design practice has refocussed on helping small business succeed. But what has not changed is the wholehearted approach that I bring to each project, offering strategic ideation and outstanding visuals that cut through.
I studied at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, and subsequently majored in Graphic Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, graduating with AOCAD designation.
Serving clients both regionally, nationally and abroad
From my Collingwood studio, I am perfectly situated to collaborate with clients in areas such as The Blue Mountains, Thornbury, Wasaga Beach, Barrie and Toronto. Clients across Canada and abroad are also welcome to contact me regarding potential website and graphic design projects. I offer the same unwavering dedication and attention-to-detail no matter where you are located.
My creative specialties
Mobile-first website design
The stats are in, and the future has arrived: mobile internet usage now accounts for 56% of the time Canadians spend online.* So, it is essential that your website not only functions, but excites your audience — no matter what device they surf on.
I create modern websites that amplify your brand, and seamlessly transition from smartphone to tablet to laptop. With an emphasis on inspiring, sales-driven user experiences, I build sites that effortlessly scale alongside the growth of your business.
Sites that stay current
We've all seen them: websites that get jumbled or break apart when viewed on a phone. Or worse yet, those sites that scream "I was made in the 90s!"
Work with me, and I will craft a site for your business that is undeniably now. A site that builds trust with your audience through its contemporary design.
Just as importantly, my sites are served by a leading webhost which actively manages and updates each site's backend software. This managed hosting ensures ongoing compatibility with the most popular devices and browsers, and keeps your site safe.
